前言 隨著資訊的流通,消費者對常規農業的各種問題有更多的了解。同時,大家對健康生活的關注,令有機產品在香港,以至全球的需求都明顯上升。作為一個精明的消費者,我們需要更多的知識,以選擇最適合自己的產品。這本小書,希望能為本地的消費者提供一些有機資訊,讓大家知所選擇。同時,亦盼這裡的資料,能成為業界的參考。 這本《指南》已是我們出版的第三本了。每年的出版時間,都會較原來的安排延遲。原因有多方面,其中最主要的,當然是我們自己力有不逮、眼高手低、人手不足等等。另外,各機構資料的變動,亦是每年都必會出現的。這些變動,包括由人事轉變到店舖增減等的各種大小的更改;出現的時間,由資料收集階段,到核實或出版前,都會發生。從這裡,我們可以感覺到本地有機市場的變化有多大,同時亦敬請各讀者在參考第二章「本地有機機構」的介紹時,多加留意。 本《指南》第二章中所刊登的機構資料,均為各商號團體所提供。至於各機構或農場所生產的產品是否真正有機,並非本書編委會所能核實,要確實的話,我們需要的,是一個認證制度。故此,在本書內所刊登的機構或產品,不代表本會的認受或推介。而未在本書內刊登的機構或產品,亦不代表本會的不認受或不推介。 這本小書之所以能面世,實有賴不少朋友及團體幫忙。其中陳慧聰小姐,她由本書的構思,到撰稿、翻譯、編輯等等,都落力幫忙,我們十分感激。另外,本會主席周兆祥博士及理事何良懋先生,均對本書的內容大綱,提供了十分寶貴兼有用的意見。還有,香港有機農業協會的主席朱佩坤小姐與及香港有機資源中心,都在百忙中為本書撰稿。當然,我們還要感謝所有為這本書提供資料的各機構,他們不怕我們的問卷繁贅,耐心地為消費者提供詳細的資料。最後,我們要多謝所有在本書內刊登廣告及捐款的機構,藉著他們的支持,本書才可以編印,並送贈各有關機構。多謝多謝 ! Foreword As more information being available, consumers have a better understanding about the problems induced by conventional farming. At the same time, people become more conscious about their own health. These trends lead to the popularity of organic products in Hong Kong and worldwide. This small book is published to provide more information to consumers about organic products available in Hong Kong and allow them to make better choice for their own needs. Besides, we also hope this small book can also be serviced as a reference for the local organic operators. This is the third organic directory published by us. Every year, the time needed for preparation would be much longer than what we expected at the planning stage. There are many reasons for the delay. The most important ones are that our ability cannot match with our ambition and that our manpower is not sufficient to achieve our target. Moreover, the frequent changes of data of organizations in Section Two of this book also make some contributions to the postponement. The changes involved are varied in seriousness, from change of responsible person to open and close of new branches or even shops. We were notified about these changes at different stages, from data collection to close to publishing. The circumstances may imply that the local organic market changes so rapidly, readers should pay more attention to the information provided in Chapter 2 “ Local Organic Organizations” , they may be altered from time to time. The information listed in Chapter Two is provided by the organizations themselves. It is not possible for us to check if the products provided are really organic. In fact, the responsibility to ascertain the organic status of the organic products should fall on a certification system instead of a written guide. Hence, all organizations or products that appear in this Directory do not constitute our recognition or recommendation; likewise, organizations or products that do not appear in this Directory do not constitute our non-recognition or non-recommendation. This piece of works could not be completed successfully without the support of various friends and organizations. In particular, we would like to thank Ms Chan Wai Chung who has helped and worked tirelessly from the concept constructing, through articles writing, translating and editing.
