How to Book a Tour of Group Activity?

Who may apply for Group Activities?
Whoever may arrange a group of 20 persons or above, no matter by the name of an organization or in personal capacity, may apply for Group Activities. In general, every 20 to 50 person for general activities will be guided by one tutor.

How to Book a Tour?

Procedure I Telephone reservation :

Please call our office at 2674 1190 to make a reservation for a tour. Information needed: date, no. of participants, name of the activity attempted to booked and contact method. We provide advance-booking service for the whole year on a first come first served basis. It is recommended to make advance booking at least 4 to 6 weeks before the activity date. But even earlier booking (2 months in advance) is recommended for large groups (more than 200 people) or on holidays.

Procedure II Written Confirmation :

After telephone reservation, please send us a completed Enrollment Form together with a cheque or transfer slip of deposit within 2 week's time to confirm the booking. A reply will be sent in 10 days. For different activities, please use separate forms. Please make copies of the form when necessary. The booking is not transferable to other organizations.

How to change a Booking?

2 weeks or more before the activity date:

•  Change of Date / Time: Date, time and assembly points can be changed if possible.
•  Increase in the no. of Participants: Please check with the office by phone. If possible, please settle the payment as soon as possible.
•  Decrease in no. of Participants: Please note that the no. of participants should not be smaller than the minimum group size for the activity.
•  Chang of Activity: No activity can be changed after written confirmation.

Within 2 weeks before the day of the booked activity:

•  Change date: possible, but non-refundable service change to be paid as follows :
•  Notify change between 48 hours and 2 weeks before the activity, 20% of the original fee should be paid as service charge
•  Notify change between 24 and 48 hours before, 50% of the original fee should be paid as service charge
•  Notify change within 24 hours before, 100% of the original fee should be paid as service charge
•  Other change: Same as 2 weeks or more before the activity date, but $100 administration fee will be charged for every notification.

Special Notes:

•  Full-time students aged 3 or above and senior citizens of age 60 or above can enjoy discount fees while other people should pay ordinary fee.
• 

One free tour leader quota is offered for every 20 participants. Please contact us if special arrangement is needed. The exact no. of free tour leaders will be listed on reply letters.

•  If the actual number of participants is less than the minimum number required, the difference (empty seats) may be paid at discount fare.
•  If the actual number of students/senior citizens and ordinary participants has not been confirmed at the time of application, payment may be settled by two installments. The first payment, or deposit, should be paid within 2 weeks after telephone reservation. The payment may be sent or fax together with the Enrollment Form. Deposit is calculated according to number of groups. Every 20 – 50 person will be arranged into one group.
• 
Deposit Amount: Half day activities: $200 per group
  Whole day activities: $500 per group
  Guided Visit: Full payment is needed
•  Balance (= Total fee - Deposit) should be settled 2 weeks before the activity date. Delayed payment without prior notice will be considered as cancellation and no refund of deposit will be arranged.
•  If actual number of participants and the proportion of students/senior citizens and others can be confirmed within 2 weeks after telephone booking, full payment may be sent together with the Enrollment Form.
•  Please confirm all changes in written. We would not issue additional document on changes.

Payment Method:

•  By cheque: Please send crossed cheque payable to "Produce Green Foundation" together with a completed Enrollment Form to us. Please also put “Tour Booking” on the envelope.
•
